1 คำกริยา (VERBS)

คำกริยาคือคำที่แสดงอาการและการกระทำของประธานและกรรมในประโยค โดยจะเปลี่ยนรูปไปตามเวลาที่กิริยาอาการและการกระทำนั้นเกิดขึ้น คือ อดีต ปัจจุบัน และอนาคต (past tense, present tense, future tense) เราสามารถแยกคำกริยาออกเป็นสองกลุ่มใหญ่ๆได้ดังต่อไปนี้

CONVERSATION 1
A: Alex likes to swim.
B: Does he play cricket?
A: Yes, he does.
B: What other sports can he play?
A: He can play badminton.

CONVERSATION 2
A: Paul can ski very well.
B: Does he know how to play volleyball?
A: He sure does.
B: Can he play other sports?
A: Table tennis.
