บทที่ 13 การร่วมประชุม-1 (Participating-1)
ผู้เข้าร่วมประชุมย่อมมีโอกาสที่จะแสดงความคิดเห็นของตนเอง ตลอดจนแสดงความเห็นด้วย/ไม่เห็นด้วย หรือความไม่แน่ใจว่าเห็นด้วยหรือไม่ ซึ่งการพูดในแต่ละสถานการณ์นั้นพอจะแบ่งออกได้ดังนี้ การแสดงความคิดเห็นของตนเอง
ในกรณีที่มีความเชื่อมั่นมาก
- I’m sure/convinced that ... .
- I feel quite/very sure that ... .
ในกรณีทั่วๆไป
- I believe/think that ... .
- As I see it ... .
- The way I see it is that ... .
ในกรณีที่ยังไม่มีความมั่นใจมากนัก
- It seems to me that ... .
- I tend to favor the idea/view/approach that ... .
- I’m inclined to think that ... .
การเห็นด้วยกับความคิดเห็นของผู้อื่น
เห็นด้วยอย่างยิ่ง
- I’m in complete agreement (with ...).
- I quite agree (with ...).
- I couldn’t agree more (with ...).
- I agree.
ในกรณีทั่วๆไป
- I think you’re right.
- That’s right/true.
การไม่เห็นด้วยกับความคิดเห็นของผู้อื่น
ไม่เห็นด้วยอย่างยิ่ง
- I disagree completely (with ...).
- That’s out of the question.
ใช้ในกรณีทั่วๆไป
- I don’t agree (with ...).
- I think you’re wrong.
- I disagree (with ...).
- That’s not how I see it.
ในกรณีที่ยังมีข้อสงสัยหรือยังตัดสินใจไม่ได้ว่าจะเห็นด้วยหรือไม่
- I agree (with Ken) up to a point but ... .
- I (can/do) see your point but ... .
- I suppose you’re right but ... .
- That’s (quite) true. However, ... .
- Yes, but ... .

- I quite agree with Jon’s suggestion.
- I couldn’t agree more with the plan we have.
การไม่เห็นด้วยกับความคิดเห็นของผู้อื่น
- I disagree completely with the merger plan.
- I don’t agree with your suggestion.
- I disagree with what you’ve just proposed.
ในกรณีที่ยังมีข้อสงสัยหรือยังตัดสินใจไม่ได้ว่าจะเห็นด้วยหรือไม่
- I agree with Scott up to a point, but I think there are some issues that need to be discussed fouther.
- I do see your point, but I am not quite certain that the result will be as we expect.
- Yes, but will that be the only option we have.
